Our spirits are produced entirely in an artisanal way and the ingredients are sought after to bring quality and taste to every taste.
Showing the link with the territory is crucial for our brand, because it allows us to convey authenticity, tradition and a sense of belonging.
This allows us to differentiate ourselves in the market, creating added value for consumers who seek authentic and unique products. In addition, emphasising the local origin of the botanicals used highlights our commitment to sustainability and support for the local community.
How is Grumial gin produced?
Gin belongs to the category of ‘distilled compounds’, a category of spirits in which aromas and flavours are obtained through the distillation of alcohol in which botanical ingredients have been macerated.
The carefully selected fruit is brought to the distillery where the transformation process begins.
Initially, each fruit is washed and peeled in order to obtain the skins and begin cold distillation, a technique that allows a balanced and homogenous product to be obtained, capable of bringing out the best of the aromas of the Garda essences.
The botanicals of the gin

Lemons
Coming mainly from the Pra de la Fam Lemon House.

Bitter oranges
Harvested by the Cooperativa Terre & Sapori and a private individual with a large lemon grove in the Gargnano area.

Olive leaves
When pruning olive trees in Tignale, we collect the leaves to avoid ruining the plant.

Juniper
Harvested in the woods between Tignale and Gargnano during the months of September and October.
How Grumial limoncello is produced
Once the lemons have been harvested, they are brought to our distillery. They are washed, peeled
and the peels are infused with alcohol, water and a small amount of sugar.
